Wrath and Pride
Wrath... failed. Annoyance.
My friend Nastasha and I tried our hand at wrath, but other than the water shot we pretty much got "annoyance" I think:) Having someone else to take pictures of did give me the chance to try some stuff I didn't get a chance to shooting myself. There's more on the blog as always. And there's some women's rugby from the weekend too if you're interested.

Constructed

Here's what I've got for constructed photos. I haven't been able to afford any good lighting kits yet, and my flash wasn't quite casting light the way I wanted. So what I did for the first photo was use one of those mood improving lights that you can pick up pretty cheap. It is supposed to simulate sunlight, and I've found it works great for lighting smaller photography projects. The second shot I took on film with an F100. I grabbed the Mamiya twin lens reflex off the shelf at work (a camera store) and put it on a light table. The film was expired, so the colors are a little off.

Contrived and COLD
Hopefully the lack in quality can be made up with a little sympathy in just how cold the creek was on Sunday;) All three of us are sick, so I went out by myself with the tripod, lighstand, camera, and external flash and hopped in the river. Needless to say I shot for about 25 minutes before having to quit. I see why none of my friends wanted to volunteer to model haha! I used a set of like 10 to make a story board type thing, but re-edited two together for this one.
And proof I got wet... As you can see I was too cold and having too hard a time running back and forth from the camera to the water to do anything "posing wise" Just the "get me the heck out of this water!"
