Week 1
Messing around with the focus.
This one I took with a super fast shutter speed (1/500s). I know we aren't supposed to use flash. However, it was necessary to get any amount of light in the picture for this one.

Faux HDR- Topaz Adjust
Just figured I'd share an example of what topaz adjust can do for you. It does a really nice job of simulating tone mapping and gives you both preset and flexibility for controlling color and exposure. The nice thing is that you can do it with just one image (this is from a point and shoot a few years ago), and it's fairly cheap $50.

Lucky for me, people seem more interested in having a cig and playing on their cell phones than who is taking a photo of them.
